High Speed Rail Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China
The new High-Speed-Rail line connects the two cities Lianyungang (4.4 million people) and Xuzhou (8.6 million people) and will reduce the travel time from 2 hours to 45 minutes. The LianXu project is the first HSR continuous girder project in China using the precast segmental bridge technology with the short-line match casting method for continuous bridge structures designed by China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., LTD (CRCC). SECI / SETI is involved in a research project on future application of short-line segmental precasting continuous bridges in high-speed railway projects and the manual development of preliminary practice rules. SECI / SETI is responsible for the geometry control and quality control for the two long-span precast segmental bridges with a four-span bridge with an overall length of 162m, span length of 33m+48m+48m+33m, and a three-span bridge with an overall length of 114m, span length of 33m+48m+33m. We are also responsible for the global, local and erection coordinates for the precast segments, including the fabrication and erection camber.
